LOSTSONAR. 

My name is Jas, and I am the creative force behind Lostsonar. My mother named me this for the specific intention of my nickname, as her love of the musical genre seemed to become more and more profound in my day to day life. Raised by a single mother who immersed me in music from around the globe, I developed an insatiable hunger for new sounds. Music wasn't merely a passion but a lifeline, a steadfast companion, accompanying me everywhere I went.

Despite my deep love for music, I never dared to dream of it as a viable career. Its complexities and the lack of a clear path into the industry left me uncertain of its possibilities. However, everything changed when I stumbled upon the underground music scene in my hometown in late high school. Watching peers my age fearlessly create and perform ignited a fire within me—a realization that music was not an exclusive club but a realm of boundless potential waiting to be explored.

That pivotal moment propelled me to save every penny to purchase my first laptop and electric guitar. From then on, I embarked on a journey fueled by an insatiable drive to create and refine my own sounds, to weave emotions and stories into melodies that resonate deeply.

Armed with newfound determination, I pursued formal education in audio engineering and sound design, relentlessly honing my craft. Through perseverance and passion, I defied my own doubts and achieved milestones I once believed unattainable. Today, I proudly stand as an established artist, with a body of work that includes commercial projects, self-released EPs, and soon, a debut album.
