01
Nightrider
As part of my sound design coursework, I was presented with the challenge of crafting a narrative devoid of any dialogue within a strict two-minute timeframe. In response, I opted to construct a compelling plot centered around a gripping midnight motorcycle ride gone wrong. My submission was met with resounding success, earning me a perfect score of 100% on the assignment.
02
Massive Attack Remix
In this project I was assigned the task of transforming the genre of an original song, specifically Massive Attack's 1998 hit "Teardrop", into a dance floor sensation using the original multitracks and our own compositions. To accomplish this, I opted for a jazz fusion approach which completed reinvigorated the original brooding track.
03
Radio Commercial
In just one day, my two team mates and I were tasked with creating a 30-second radio commercial for a fictitious coffee company. We worked collaboratively throughout the entire process, from composing the music to creating the foley layers and mixing the final product earning us the best score in our class.
04
Nutella commercial
The objective for this project was to produce the sound for a Nutella commercial within a tight deadline of one day, akin to the previous radio commercial. The scope of work encompassed voice over, foley, music, mixing, and mastering. Through a collaborative effort, the final product was skillfully crafted to seamlessly integrate all the elements of the given brief.
05
Jazz Composition
As part of my initial studies, I was tasked with a significant mixing assignment that required the selection of a track and the transformation of untreated and unedited stems into a fully realized song. In an effort to challenge myself, I opted for a complex jazz composition, and the resulting output did not dissapoint.
06
Animated Short Film
For this project, I was given the task of producing the music, foley and SFX for the accompanying horror comedy film. In addition to this we were also mixing and mastering the final cut. I chose to take on the extra task trying to do as many of the sounds from scratch which paid off and earned me one of the highest grades in the class.
